Site Safety Manager

Our client is an Indiana-based earthmoving and underground utility contractor. We specialize in heavy highways, public works, commercial, and industrial site development. This includes work for DOT's, municipalities, general contractors, developers, healthcare, education, and environmental projects.

We are seeking an experienced safety manager to enforce safety standards, foster a strong safety culture, and ensure full regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational and industrial safety, particularly within construction. This role requires hands-on experience, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to fostering a strong safety culture.

Essential Duties:

• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Conduct job site safety inspections and audits
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Assist with incident investigations and reporting
• Lead and mentor crews on safety procedures and best practices

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in occupational and industrial safety

· Data Center Experience is preferred, but not required

· Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices

· Strong communication and documentation skills

· Experience working on large or multi-site construction projects

· Microsoft Office 365 – Word, Excel, Teams

· Excavation / Trenching knowledge

Training & Certifications:

Completion of recognized safety training programs including but not limited to:

· Construction Health and Safety Technician

· OSHA30, OSHA 500, and OSHA 510

· Bloodborn Pathogen

· Excavation / Trenching Confined Space

· Fall Protection

· First Aid/CPR
